BigTime brings together more than 20 years of coaching experience and over 40 years of high-level hockey experience. That perspective shapes purposeful instruction that helps athletes think critically, make better decisions and translate their training into games.
BigTime Hockey was built in Kitchener by coaches whose experience spans professional hockey, the OHL, university hockey, Junior B and elite minor hockey. That depth allows the team to teach both the details of a skill and the reason it matters when the game speeds up.
Founder Luke Bignell came through the Kitchener Jr. Rangers AAA program before competing in the OHL and with the University of Guelph Gryphons. BigTime brings those lessons back to the community through clear instruction, honest feedback and a stronger understanding of the game.
